"Coach Ashcraft has coached softball and baseball since age 16, leading over 30 house, travel, and All-Star teams. His philosophy emphasizes fundamentals, confidence, and respect for the game, teammates, and opponents. While he has a strong track record for fielding competitive, high-achieving teams, his primary focus is developing players’ passion, knowledge, and on-field performance while fostering personal growth. A San Diego native, Coach Ashcraft was a team captain, All-League, and All-County/All-Academic baseball player at Point Loma High School. He earned a double major in Computer Science and Economics from Vanderbilt University. Off the field, he enjoys family time, cooking, and cheering for the San Diego Padres."
